Pakistan’s Northern Region Is Taking a Step towards Providing High-Speed Internet Access in an effort to Increase Tourism
According to the CEO of the Universal Service Fund Haris Mehmood Chaudhry says that high-speed internet services will soon be available in places like Chitral and Kaghan, as well as other places that are popular with tourists in the northern parts.
Haris Mehmood further said that high-speed internet would be accessible in Chitral, Kaghan, Naran, and Neelum Valley within the next six months.
After a year, Gwadar, Panjgur, and other districts of Baluchistan will also have access to high-speed internet.

Fiber optic construction has already begun in seven tribal districts, and 900 kilometers of fiber optic cable is being installed in Khyber, Kurram, and Mohmand, he said.
