Construction of the Bhara Kahu Bypass is scheduled to begin in November
ISLAMABAD: The much-anticipated elevated four-lane Bhara Kahu Bypass on the busiest route of Murree Road will begin construction in November 2021.
This was said by Ali Nawaz Awan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Capital Development Authority (CDA) Affairs, during a public gathering in Bhara Kahu on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
He noted that the region sees a lot of traffic, particularly on weekends when people travel to Murree and Kashmir.
He said that the initiative was not only necessary for Islamabad residents, but also for those from Murree and Kashmir.
According to the SAPM, the Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaaf has launched a slew of mega-development projects since assuming power in order to alleviate residents in the Federal Capital’s sense of deprivation.
Having a dig at the PML-N, he claimed the party was founded on hypocrisy since its leadership constantly used a double standard in all aspects of life.
He said that the PML-N has always utilized national institutions for its own ends and harmed their integrity in order to safeguard its leadership’s personal interests.
He said that the PML-N has collapsed, citing a noticeable split among the party ranks.
Ali Nawaz said that inflation had become a worldwide problem after COVID-19 and that the government was making every effort to control inflation and bring relief to the ordinary people.
SAPM said that the prices of petroleum products and sugar in Pakistan remained lower than in other nations and that the pricing of petroleum products was related to the world market.
In response to the PDM public gatherings, he said that the administration was not afraid of the opposition’s plays since the people were fully aware of their corruption and other ill-doings throughout their rule.
Awan said that the opposition was just attacking the administration to get political points.
