Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has finished beautification work on the Srinagar Highway, now has a completely new look
According to the information provided, the beautification effort was mostly focused on planting flowers and trees and landscaping without the use of cement, sand, or other construction materials as part of the PTI government’s Clean Green Pakistan program.
The facts revealed that, in addition to meeting road safety requirements in accordance with international practices, evergreen, flowering plants were also planted on the Srinagar Highway.
Small and large flower pots have been strategically placed in prominent areas. The vibrant blooms in these containers represent the natural beauty of the spring season.

It’s worth noting that during times of political instability, events are held on main highways, causing havoc on the natural beauty of the area.
The Srinagar Highway signal has lately been made free of charge by the authorities. According to the Islamabad Traffic Police, more than 115,000 vehicles pass through the roads every day, saving 100,000’man hours’ of commuter time.
According to the CDA, the beautification of the federal capital is ongoing, and the Clean Green Pakistan project includes the planting of flowers and plants.
