British PM Boris Johnson Expresses Gratitude to Pakistani PM Imran Khan for the Billion Tree Project.
In an address to the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday, September 23, 2021, Prime Minister Boris Johnson of the United Kingdom urged world leaders to follow in the footsteps of Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan by planting trees
The Ministry of Climate Change posted a brief video clip of British Prime Minister David Cameron’s speech on Twitter, in which he expressed his gratitude for Prime Minister Imran Khan’s enormous afforestation programmer.

Boris Johnson was speaking about the climate change initiative.
“We are going to plant millions of trees in the UK,” Prime Minister Johnson said, “but I was blown away. I’d want to encourage everyone to follow Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan’s lead, who has vowed to plant 10 billion trees in Pakistan alone. He’s on his way…
He asserted that it is the obligation of the developed world to accept the responsibility and assist the developing world in attaining these goals.
During his annual United Nations General Assembly address, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom urged world leaders to “grow up” and confront climate change.
Christian Turner, the United Kingdom’s ambassador to Pakistan, shared the video on his official Twitter account, tagging Prime Minister Imran Khan in the post.

According to Turner’s tweet, “Prime Minister Boris Johnson urges on the globe to follow the example of Imran Khan Kamyabi in the fight against climate change.”
Johnson went on to say in his speech, “We must demonstrate that we are capable of learning and developing and that we are now willing to accept responsibility for the damage we are wreaking not just on our world, but also upon ourselves.” “It is past time for mankind to mature.”
