The civic agency of the federal capital (CDA) has enhanced the outreach of its sanitation services to the rural areas. Moreover, Capital Development Authority has decided to increase the jurisdiction of its Sanitation Department to rural areas and suburbs of the city, a statement said on Tuesday(26.1.2021)

In the first phase, CDA has started the sanitation work in Sohan, Pindorian, Zia Masjid, Khana Pull, Tramri, and Lehtrar Road localities. The sanitation staff picked away over 200 tonnes of garbage from these areas in a single day.
The sanitation operation is under way under the supervision of Sanitation Director Sardar Khan Zimri.
Capital development authority received multiple applications of citizens for increasing the jurisdiction of sanitation department to suburbs of the city. In addition, more than 100 sanitary workers, three excavators, 10 dumpers, and other machinery took part in the cleanliness operation.
