ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced the installation of digital water flow meters in the main pipelines of the city.
CDA has decided to install digital flow meters on the main pipelines. These will be installed in main pipes, tubular wells and filtration systems. In this regard, PC 1 of Rs 166,419 crore was approved.
The CDA management decided to install a digital flow meter to collect real water flow data and to protect theft and waste of water. These meters will be installed in main pipes, tubular wells and water filtration systems.
These meters will help in monitoring the water theft incident side by side, counting the actual water flow figures.
The PC1 of this project was approved during the DWP CDA session. This project will help CDA make better use of natural resources.
