CDA to Transform Islamabad into a Tourist-Friendly City

Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to transform Islamabad into a tourist-friendly city.

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) at the first meeting of the newly formed CDA Council on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 decided to make the federal capital’s tourist-friendly, functionalize libraries and carry out activities that highlight the national culture.

It was also decided to make the federal capital’s tourist-friendly and to create a facilitation center to promote tourism.

The CDA Board has decided to launch a public awareness campaign to emphasize the importance of visiting the historical sites of Islamabad and adjacent areas.

Tourists will receive special guidance on the facilities available. On the other hand, the importance of visiting the historical places of Islamabad and its surroundings will also be emphasized.

It also approved the functionalization of all libraries in the federal capital with immediate effect to promote the culture of reading books.

The CDA Board has also decided to organize events to emphasize the importance of national culture.

In addition, the CDA Board has issued instructions to complete the restoration of road infrastructure and improve the sanitation situation in the federal capital as soon as possible.
