ISLAMABAD: Premier Imran Khan stressed on Monday, June 28, 2021, the need to promote tourism in Pakistan during his visit to Naran, stating that even Switzerland cannot beat the beauty of the country’s tourist resorts.
Speaking with members of the Tiger Force in Naran 🗻 , The Prime Minister said he was delighted to see more trees planted in the area during the aerial visit.
“Our future generations would appreciate and be grateful to us taking care of them,” he said, further stating that previously the forests and trees 🌲 🌳 🌴had been ruined.
According to him, the beauty of Pakistan 🇵🇰 is incomparable and no place in the world could compete with it and they should take care of the blessings of Allah Almighty in this way.
Prime Minister Khan also stressed the need to hire local volunteers to monitor forests saying they are more aware of local dynamics and know the people involved in logging in their respective areas.

“People across the country love trout fishing in the Kunhar River,” the prime minister said, highlighting another tourism potential, adding that promoting tourism in these areas would generate jobs and money for the locals.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, who also stressed the potential of tourism, said that even Switzerland cannot match the beauty of Pakistan 🇵🇰 . “Switzerland is half of the northern parts of Pakistan and yet generates $ 80 billion in tourism,” he said.
He said tourism in Pakistan is growing rapidly and that the program we will implement for the Kaghan Valley would make it a world-class tourist spot. He said the country can work on training another 15 tourist resorts, such as Nathia Gali, and promote winter tourism
He said adding tourism would generate a lot of foreign currency in Pakistan 🇵🇰 and provide more jobs to unemployed
He said promoting tourism is a challenge and that the government is spending a great deal on environmental projects in the country.
Prime Minister Khan said his vision is a clean and green Pakistan.
People will only come to Pakistan when they are considered safe. “We cannot have tourism until there is peace in the country,” he said.
Premier Imran Khan said the 10-billion-tree tsunami program will change the environment, adding that improved tourism will create jobs and ensure prosperity in the country. He also warned that illegal logging of forests would not be tolerated.

Previously, The Prime Minister inaugurated several development projects for the promotion of tourism and the protection of the environment in the area.
Projects include planting trees on the banks of the Kunhar River, distributing motorcycles to Community River Rangers 🏞 🌅, trout farming on the Kunhar River, providing 5.5 million eco-friendly biodegradable bags and response service, services for tourists, and the delivery of waste collection machinery and equipment.
