ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to announce a development package for Gilgit Baltistan 🗻 during his visit to the region in a few days.
The prime minister gave his consent while chairing a meeting on the Gilgit-Baltistan 🌄 Integrated Development Plan, which is described as historic.
The Meeting was attended by Planning Minister Asad Umar, Finance Minister Muhammad Hammad Azhar, Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid, and other ministers and senior officials.
It is expected to announce the details of the package during his next visit to the Northern area 🗻, the program will focus on building, road, electricity projects, infrastructure, development, and Of Course, Tourism!!!
As Gilgit-Baltistan is regarded as Pakistan’s premier tourist destination and attracts hundreds of thousands of travelers and adventurers from all over the world, the approval of a development package can play an important role in promoting tourism in the area.
It further noted that the development of Gilgit-Baltistan was among the top priorities of the federal government.

The prime minister said
“Gilgit-Baltistan has huge potential for tourism that needs to be exploited. There is a need to pay special attention to tourism promotion and environmental protection,The Projects in various sectors will not only herald a new chapter of development and progress in Gilgit Baltistan, but will also help address the area’s problems and create numerous job opportunities.”
