MINGORA: Malam Jabba resort, which was closed due to an increase in cases of Covid-19, is re-opened for tourists now after a gap of two and half months.
Hundreds of tourists thronged to the picturesque valley to enjoy its beauty and pleasant climate.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to promote tourism across the country. Following the prime minister’s vision, the KP government is cracking down on tourism promotion in the province, “Sports Director General (DG) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Asfandyar Khan told reporters.

He said Malam Jabba is world-famous for its scenic and serene beauty, snow-capped mountains, and natural landscape.
The official added that after the tourist resort opens, tourists will enjoy beautiful valleys and, at the same time, that will help to boost the region’s economy.
“We are determined to provide all services to tourists in the Malam Jabba resort. In addition to the chairlifts and the Zipline, we will very soon be providing other facilities for the interests of tourists, ”said Pir Waris Shah, general manager of Malam Jabba Resort.
