NAYA PAKISTAN HOUSING AUTHORITY

The Cabinet Committee on Institutional Reforms (CCIR)  approved the merger of National Housing Authority and Naya Pakistan Housing Authority under the Cabinet Division. The committee has sent a summary to the federal cabinet for final approval.

RULES OF BUSINESS

Meeting was held and presided over by Federal Minister for Education, Professional Training, National Heritage and Culture Shafqat Mahmood. Consequently, committee members discussed on amendments to certain claused of the Rules of Business to make the working of government speedy.

The CCIR chairman remarked that we intend to end the red tape and needless delay in government work with these amendments.

Mahmood added that we are amending the rules which were creating ambiguity in the disposal of business of the government. Thus, to create clarity.

The committee, after discussion, proposed that autonomous bodies and companies would inform the Ministry of Law about the hired lawyer or the firm for representation in courts.Then the Ministry of Law would give its input within 10 days.

The Defence Minister Pervaiz Khattak, Law Minister Barrister Farogh Naseem, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Petroleum Nadeem Babar and Adviser to Prime Minister on Institutional Reforms and Austerity Dr Ishrat Husain attended the meeting. They adjourned the meeting till further order.

NAYA PAKISTAN HOUSING AUTHORITY

Government of PM Imran Khan started this program to deliver housing units to all citizens. Having all the facilities and amenities. It specifically focuses on financially unstable and middle-income communities. Therefore, it aims to create employment opportunities. It will also promote industrial growth. Simultaneously, it will boost the construction sector in the country. 

This is a national construction organization that would provide housing facility to homeless population. This authority creates opportunities by connecting real estate developers and stakeholders.
