Pakistani Tourism Is Promoting In Australia On Buses
Lahore: A campaign to promote Pakistani tourism has been running on Sydney buses, and Pakistani immigrants in Australia have taken the initiative to promote their country
The gesture reflects a unique expression of love for their homeland.
In Sydney buses, a promotional campaign promoting Pakistani tourism is being promoted.
Pakistani immigrants in Australia were the driving force behind this project.
Tourism advertising on Sydney buses was spearheaded by the Pakistani community in Sydney to highlight prominent tourist spots in Pakistan.
In addition to being a unique display of respect for their community, the gesture also adds to the government of Pakistan’s objective of improving the country’s tourist potential by increasing the number of visitors.
The Australian High Commission has supported an exhibition of two public buses showcasing artworks with Australian and Pakistani images by Pakistani-Australian artists in collaboration with local emerging artists and students.
Admiring Pakistan’s beautiful tradition of decorating vehicles, the Australian High Commissioner Dr. Geoffrey Shaw highlighted that while Australia and Pakistan are both diverse countries, they share many common links.
“Our two countries have much in common from our Commonwealth heritage and similar climates to our sporting and strong people-to-people links. More than 80,000 people of Pakistani origin call Australia home.”
