The national flag carrier announced these flights in response to a long-standing demand from citizens of both countries, as well as Pakistanis living in Azerbaijan’s capital.

This move will allow Pakistanis to travel directly to the popular tourist destination from Karachi and Lahore.

While congratulating the state airline’s officials on finalizing the flight arrangements, PIA Chief Executive Officer Air Marshal Arshad Malik stated that there are plans to expand the national flag carrier’s network.

He also directed the airline’s departments to provide the best services possible to passengers.
