Ring Road: RDA Signs Consultation MOU with Turkish firm
Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) and Asian Consulting Engineers JV Turk Company Botek Bogazici Musavirlik Anonim Sirketi have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for consultation on the Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) project. (As reported by source of news)
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the Commissioner’s Office between RDA and the Ring Road project in the presence of various officials, including Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Liaquat Ali Chattha, RDA Director General Saif Anwar Jhappa, Chief Engineer Dr. Hamidul Haq Randhawa, Planning & Development Board Punjab Secretary Committee, provincial government representatives, and officers from relevant departments.

Under the terms of the MOU, Asian Consultant Engineers JV will provide third-party consulting services with a concentration on determining the best route for the Rawalpindi Ring Road.
During the ceremony, Rawalpindi Commissioner Chattha emphasized the city-altering effects of the Ring Road initiative. Considering the significance of the initiative to the public, he emphasized the importance of avoiding any additional delays.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between RDA and the Ring Road project represents a significant advancement in the development of this critical transportation initiative.
