CDA Implements An Emergency Response Plan For Monsoon Rainfall
ISLAMABAD: Chairman Capital development authority and Chief commissioner have an authorized resource allocation plan to coordinate flood relief readiness and emergency response in looming pre-monsoon rainfall projections.
According to sources, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad has been designated convener of the Dist. A disaster management committee that would coordinate overall activities.
Additionally, it was determined to map nallahs and other resources and to use data from the survey of Pakistan.
The chairman also gave CDA Member Engineering instructions to ensure prompt delivery of essential machinery and equipment, particularly to support locations without adequate shelter, infrastructure, and basic services.

Furthermore to coordinate flood relief operations associated Departments like IESCO, food, and Livestock were put on notice with directives to assure the provision of all necessary measures and items along with their human resources.

The chairman also directed the director generals of the civic body to maintain the employee’s alert for any emergency response.
Moreover, the chair directed Member Engineering CDA to assure the provision of Machinery at all times, notably in the vulnerable areas where monitoring camps with human resources would be put up quickly.

Executive director CDA hospital and DHO have been asked to ensure the provision of medical professionals and medications in flood relief camps.
