First Software Technology Park In Swat Is Now Open For Business
SWAT: The first Public-Private Partnership (PPP) created software Technology Park is now Operational in Swat.
The Pakistan Software Export Board established the software technology park in collaboration with Vertex Tower.
Businesses have begun to occupy the 17950 square feet of office space in the Software Technology Park, which was established in Mingora, Swat.
According to Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) officials, two companies have also relocated to this software technology park, and a total of eight to ten enterprises can use the office space there

Companies have been offered space at a rate of Rs. 50 per square foot, according to PSEB officials. If they apply to the PSEB 25 STPs project, IT companies will receive a 25% rental subsidy and a year of free internet.
The Software Technology Park in Swat will benefit young people in remote areas such as Mingora, Char Bagh, Bahrain, Shangla, and others. When the park is fully operational, it will employ over 300 people.
With the establishment of the Mingora, Swat Software Technology Park, large corporations will be able to build their own site offices and save money, while less expensive IT resources will be able to work closer to home.
Once the park is operational, the infrastructure will be updated as telecom and internet providers upgrade their systems to meet rising local demand.
