KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Will Resume ATR Flight Operations From Islamabad To Saidu Sharif (Swat) On 26th March after a 17-Years Gap.
According to the PIA, the first flight of the PIA PK-650 will depart Islamabad for Saidu Sharif on Friday morning.
In a letter to the Civil Aviation Authority, the airline asked to ensure all safety, infrastructure and other important arrangements for the smooth resumption of flights.

The national flag carrier will operate two flights from Lahore and Islamabad in one week. The first flight will depart for Saidu Sharif from Islamabad on March 26.
Saidu Sharif Airport had not been operational since 2004 after the national flag carrier stopped operating commercial flights to this destination.
Established in 1978, the Airport handles two daily flights from Islamabad and Peshawar.
