PM IMRAN KHAN LAHORE VISIT
Prime Minister Imran Khan presided over a review meeting about progress on the projects of Ravi Project. Moreover, he also reviewed the Central Business District in Lahore and the relocation of Walton airport.
Officials informed the PM that local and foreign investors are expressing interest in the Ravi City project. In addition, agreements with renowned construction companies from the UAE, China and Turkey have reached the final stages.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz and Naya Pakistan Housing Authority Chairman Anwar Ali Haider attended the meeting. Besides, RUDA Chairman Rashid Aziz and the officers concerned were also in attendance.

RAVI URBAN DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
Praising the Ravi Urban Development project, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that it will not only create investment opportunities, but also provide residential facilities of international standard to the masses, says sources.
Presiding over a high-level meeting, PM Imran expressed his satisfaction over the interest shown by the leading international investment companies in the Ravi city.
The prime minister also directed to remove obstacles by fulfilling all legal formalities. By keeping in view the socio-economic importance of the central business district. Furthermore, shifting of Walton Airport project in view.
The meeting commended interest of the local and international investors in the Ravi City. Moreover, agreements with investment companies from United Arab Emirates, China, and Turkey have entered the final phase.
They also updated the meeting on the progress made so far on the proposed legislation for the protection of the environment.
Earlier , Prime Minister Imran Khan had directed to complete all the targets set for Ravi Urban Development (RUD) project within the time frame.
PM Imran had said, We will not show any leniency while fulfilling the legal requirements of environmental protection.
