Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced the beginning of the Roshan Apna Ghar initiative.
ISLAMABAD Senator Faisal Javed of the Pakistan People’s Party (PTI) has announced that Prime Minister Imran Khan would inaugurate the Roshan Apna Ghar initiative on Friday, August 24, 2021
PTI Senator Faisal Javed shared his thoughts on Twitter, writing, “On this Friday, insha’Allah, Prime Minister Imran Khan will address a ceremony in conjunction with the inauguration of RoshanApnaGhar and also the achievement of $2 Billion in deposits in only 11 months through Roshan Digital Accounts.”
“Congratulations to our Pakistanis living in other countries for their outstanding response,” he continued.

In Pakistan, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is in charge of the Roshan Apna Ghar initiative, which has the assistance of eight major financial institutions.
With the help of this effort, Pakistanis residing abroad will be able to make use of financial services through a digital payment system, and customers will be able to create bank accounts without having to travel to their home country’s bank, embassy, or consulate.

Furthermore, they will be able to manage their accounts without having to go to the nation and will be able to make use of services such as direct banking, bill payment, and other e-commerce options.
The funds in these accounts may potentially be utilized to make investments in the stock market or purchase real estate in Pakistan. Also available to customers would be the option to open either a Pakistani currency account or a foreign currency account.
