In Pakistan, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is in charge of the Roshan Apna Ghar initiative, which has the assistance of eight major financial institutions.
With the help of this effort, Pakistanis residing abroad will be able to make use of financial services through a digital payment system, and customers will be able to create bank accounts without having to travel to their home country’s bank, embassy, or consulate.
Furthermore, they will be able to manage their accounts without having to go to the nation and will be able to make use of services such as direct banking, bill payment, and other e-commerce options.
The funds in these accounts may potentially be utilized to make investments in the stock market or purchase real estate in Pakistan. Also available to customers would be the option to open either a Pakistani currency account or a foreign currency account.
