PM Promote Tourism in Pakistan

PM Imran Khan directs to develop alternative measures to increase tourism.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has instructed the development of alternative tourism destinations in the country to deflect tourists from the existing busy tourist places in the northern areas, particularly during the winter season.

On Thursday 27, 2022, he told Special Assistant on Tourist Coordination Azam Jamil in Islamabad that Pakistan is endowed with natural beauty and that “we need to strengthen tourism facilitation, including infrastructure and housing development.”

He also directed the rehabilitation of Governor House Nathia Gali in order to make it into a high-end tourism attraction, particularly for state visitors.

He highlighted the need to incorporate the business sector in promoting tourism in the country.

The premier stressed the importance of incorporating the business sector in the promotion of tourism in Pakistan.
